Meet Teresa

Johnson County isn’t just where I live. It’s home. I was born and raised in western Kansas and have spent the past 30 years building a life here in Johnson County. Like many of you, I’ve built a career here and invested in this community because I believe in its future.

My background has shaped how I approach leadership. As a West Point graduate and Army officer, I learned the value of service, accountability, integrity, and making decisions under pressure. In my career as a business executive and small business owner, I’ve had to balance budgets, create jobs, and solve problems in a practical, common-sense way.

That’s exactly what I believe our county government needs: leadership that is pragmatic, fiscally responsible, and focused on outcomes, not politics.

I’m running because I believe Johnson County deserves proven, experienced leadership that listens, collaborates, and delivers results. We have an incredible community but we can’t take that for granted. We need to plan carefully, grow responsibly, and ensure our county remains a place where families and businesses thrive.

I would be honored to earn your support.
